It is very difficult to give a price before keywords are chosen and analyzed to determine how much effort is needed to beat the competition. Each keyword is like a separate race with different runners. And how much effort it takes to beat the competitor depends how strong they are. Nevertheless, to give you on a rough idea of costs based on my existing client base I would state:
Long tail keywords
- Weak competition: $50 per month
- Medium competition:$100 per month
- Very strong competition: $300 per month
Short tail keywords
- Weak competition: $100 per month
- Medium competition: $300 per month
- Very strong competition : $600 per month
If you have a geographical location in your keyword phrase like: “flower shop Texas” then this is called Local SEO and the following special package deal applies.
Special Pakage deal $300 per month for 5 Local Keywords
All the above are in US dollars and are on a monthly basis. The minimum cost will be $500 per month or £317 per month , which would give you about 5 long tail keywords at weak to medium competitive strength.

Hi, I’d love to hear what you could potentially do to get roestocks.com into the top search results. I’d rely on your expert knowledge to pick the best keywords, but I’d expect them to be along the lines of: “return on equity”, “ROE”, “high return on equity”, “high ROE”, “return on equity stocks”, etc… Any idea what this would cost me in total?
